Life is akin to a game, one in which we must wholeheartedly engage.
Within this game, there are four roles to choose from: Player, Coach, Commentator, and Spectator. To truly savour the experience and continue to evolve, one must embody either the Player or Coach mindset. By committing to playing full out, not only do we relish the game, but inevitably, success follows suit.
Yet, let us not forget that outcomes alone often fall short if we haven’t savoured the journey. Life isn’t solely about achieving results; it’s about reveling in the game itself, which is why there’s always another round waiting. If it were purely about results, we’d eventually reach a point where we’d declare we’ve attained our desired outcomes and cease playing.
Consider the wealthy individuals who never cease their endeavours, even after amassing substantial wealth. Their secret? They find joy in the game.
As your coach, my aim is to ensure you derive pleasure from this intricate game called life, transforming it into a masterpiece. Beauty emerges when we surrender to the flow. In the past, the adage was “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Today, it’s “fix it before it breaks, lest it be too late.” We construct the bridge as we traverse it, embracing the journey with resilience and grace.
